Lupita Nyongo Stars In A Quiet Place: Day One, Discusses "Alien Invasion vs. Interview"
Lupita Nyongo, star of the upcoming film A Quiet Place: Day One, recently spoke out about the challenges of filming an alien invasion movie in the midst of a real-life pandemic.
"It was definitely a strange experience," Nyongo said. "We were all wearing masks and social distancing on set, and it was hard to get into character when you're constantly worried about getting sick."
Despite the challenges, Nyongo said she is proud of the film and believes it will resonate with audiences who are also struggling to cope with the pandemic. "I think this movie is a reminder that even in the darkest of times, there is always hope," she said.
A Quiet Place: Day One is set during the early days of an alien invasion, as a group of survivors attempt to make their way to safety. The film stars Nyongo, Krasinski, and Emily Blunt.
