Imola Grand Prix to Make Return
Emilia-Romagna Region Secures Race Through 2025
The FIA and Formula 1 have announced the calendar for the 2025 FIA Formula One World Championship, with the Imola Grand Prix returning to the schedule. The race will be held at the Enzo e Dino Ferrari International Circuit from May 15-18, 2025, and will be known as the FORMULA 1 GRAN PREMIO DELLEMILIA-ROMAGNA 2025.
The Emilia-Romagna region has secured a contract to continue organizing the Grand Prix through 2025. The race was first held in 1980 and has been a part of the Formula 1 calendar on and off since then. The most recent race was held in 2020, and it was won by Lewis Hamilton.
The return of the Imola Grand Prix is a welcome addition to the Formula 1 calendar. The circuit is a challenging one, with a mix of high-speed straights and tight corners. It is also a historic circuit, having hosted some of the most memorable races in Formula 1 history.
